Ben will explore how service developed the leadership, cross-cultural communication, and diplomatic skills that influenced the careers of eighty future U.S. ambassadors, based on research from his recent book, Profiles in Service: Peace Corps Roots in American Diplomacy. Ben will share views on today’s Peace Corps, the Foreign Service, and the writing life. Refreshments will be served.
