Held the first Wednesday of each month, these virtual office hours can answer your questions related to how individuals and organizations can get involved in the 250th, whether it’s creating a specific program or legacy goal for the anniversary or just general understanding of what’s happening in Delco for this milestone event.

The January 9th We the People Party Semiquin Kick Off provides an exclusive sneak peek for the Delco community unveiling a sampler of the 2026 events and programs. CPP's can participate and to show off your program plans, A250-themed products or services to sponsors, history nerds, and hometown heroes! The night will be organized into 5 themes: Agricultural Bounty – Fruitful Farms to Great Gardens; Colonial America & Revolution - Philadelphia Campaign; Path to Freedom - Underground Railroad through Civil Rights; Industry - Mills to the Main Line; and Delco Rocks American Pop. & Patriotism. DelcoVolunteers – DelcoStrong for 250 More Years

Community Program Partners are invited to post 250th volunteer opportunities at your historic and civic sites, commemorative events, and projects. A250PADelco will connect with the public, schools, companies, faith centers, and civic groups to mobilize and join the celebration! This project is made possible through a very generous grant from the Philadelphia Funder Collaborative for the Semiquincentennial.

K-12 Semiquin Tool Kit

The K-12 Educators Semiquin Toolkit is an opportunity to share your educational opportunities, like field trips, school presentations, Ready-to-use lesson plans and activities, teacher professional development opportunities and student appropriate volunteer opportunities with Delaware Counties public private and parochial schools.

Delco Loves History Blog Submission

We invite our Community Program Partners, K-12 history teachers, educators, college professors, and professional historians to contribute to this digital storytelling initiative.

Self-guided Heritage Tours

To engage the anticipated 50,000-200,000 visitors in 2026 with Delco historic sites, we are planning Self-guided Heritage Tours in 5 themes: Agricultural Bounty – Fruitful Farms to Great Gardens; Colonial America & Revolution - Philadelphia Campaign; Path to Freedom - Underground Railroad through Civil Rights; Industry - Mills to the Main Line; and Delco Rocks American Pop. & Patriotism. A self-guided tour is a pre-planned travel experience where individuals explore destinations, shopping and food experiences independently without a physical tour guide present. They are designed to provide historical context and stories about a specific place, from a industrial past to an ancestral farmstead, using maps, audio narration, or text to enhance the journey.
