The Delco Duo Talks America250PADelco

In case you missed it, “Delco Duo” Monica Cryen and Jenna Meisner recently talked about America250PADelco on the February 15 episode of their popular PHL17 show. They shared a list of upcoming Community Program Partner events happening between now and May, including a Delaware Symphony performance and a “Meet Mr. Jefferson” experience at Neumann University. As Monica and Jenna said, the events listing is just the beginning of community-focused history, cultural, and entertainment events being planned in Delco for America’s 250th anniversary. Programs will run all year long.

The Delco Duo shared that although Philadelphia is recognized as the birthplace of America, Delco was integral to our history as well. In an interview with America250PADelco Director Andrea Silva, Andrea notes that Delaware County was created in 1664, and that “our hometown history is America’s history.”
