Thornbury Township 4th of July Parade/Festival

Get your bike, your float, yourself all gussied up and participate in Thorn-bury Township’s annual 4th of July Parade! All are welcome to participate! Win a prize for the most patriotic entries! Please, no off-road vehicles. A grab-bag of gift cards to local businesses* will be awarded for best in show for the following categories: Most Patriotic Bike, Most Patriotic Dog, Most Patriotic Stroller, Best Antique Car, and Most Creative Float. Prizes will be awarded at 11:00 AM at the Gazebo by the Playground. Immediately following the parade, join us for games, hot dogs and water at Thornbury Park.

Get your bike, your float & yourself all gussied up to participate in Thornbury Township’s annual 4th of July Parade!  All are welcome to participate!  Win a prize for the most patriotic entries! 
Please, no off-road vehicles. 

Immediately following the parade, join us for games, hot dogs and water at Thornbury Park.  

A grab-bag of gift cards to local businesses* will be awarded for best in show for the following categories:

  • Best Antique Car
  • Most Creative Float

*Must be a Thornbury Township Delaware County resident to win. 

It's going to be a hot one, so please come prepared!
 
  • Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.
  • Wear sunscreen and reapply as needed.
  • Wear lightweight clothing.
  • Don't forget a hat to help protect you from the sun.
  • Bring a personal fan or other cooling items if you have them.


If you're bringing your pup, remember that asphalt can get extremely hot and burn their paw pads. Please protect their feet and bring water for them as well!
