Erica Armstrong Dunbar, author of Never Caught: The Washingtons' Relentless Pursuit of Their Runaway Slave, Ona Judge — this year's Revolutionary Reads Community Read selection — will visit Widener University to discuss her book. Dunbar tells the story of Ona Judge, who escaped enslavement in the Washington household and fled to New England, only to become the subject of an intense manhunt led by George Washington himself. This event marks the culmination of the Revolutionary Reads program and is hosted by Widener University.
