This is our 30th Annual event at this location. We will be celebrating America 250 with special recognition of all. Come out and enjoy the fun, and learn flag facts about how William T. Kerr, a former resident of Lansdowne got flag day recognition for Delaware County and the USA.
Participants include Lansdowne NSDAR Regent, and chapter members. Additionally the S.A.R. (Son's of the American Revolution) Color Guard and the Marine Corp League present the colors. We also have the Alfred Clinton Wunderlich American Legion Post, Girl & Boy Scouts, the Del Chordians Barber Shop Quartet sings patriot songs, and presentation of proper flag folding is orchestrated by the C.A.R ( Children of the American Revolution. We will have remarks from the Mayor, borough representatives, and the fire department brings their truck for the public to view.
