The parade assembles at 9:30 AM at Wells Fargo on MacDade and starts at 10:30 AM, marching to the park via Ashland, Scott, and Knowles streets. A baby parade joins at Scott and Knowles. Park festivities run until 2:00 PM, featuring live music, food, moon bounces, a water slide, and free snow cones. The local fire department will spray water by the library, so bring a towel! Arrive early, as there is no rain date.. Check out Delco’s first ever free pop-up mini golf course with holes designed by local businesses. This will be debuting as part of Glenolden’s 4th of July celebration. It will be 9 holes of fun in Glenolden Park! Many thanks to the Williamson Free School students who built the holes as part of their Week of Service!

Parade steps off at 1030AM from Wells Fargo on MacDade.
Parade route: From Wells Fargo, Ashland to Scott. Right on Scott to Knowles. Right on Knowles to park.
Baby Parade: Wait at Scott and Knowles for parade.
Park events begin shortly after 1030AM.
Park Events: Music, games, scouts are selling food, free sno cones until we run out, moon bounces, spray tattoos, balloon animals, face painting… Shortly after the parade, our awesome fire department will be set up to spray folks in front of the library. Bring a towel! there’s a water slide included in the bounce stuff this year. You'll get to play with Steve and the hula hoops again next year.
Our events run from 10AM till 2PM, historically.
We’ll do our best to keep the sno cones flowing.
We’re trying to make sure we all have a safe day. If it gets too bad, we will shut the events down early, so I recommend not waiting until 1:45pm to roll up for a balloon animal.
Park events close at 2PM. No Rain date.
This is Glenolden’s free community mini golf celebrating local independent businesses and organizations. This year, we’ll be celebrating the Semiquincentennial by featuring displays on the history of Glenolden’s parks, police department, and fire department.
