Description

The Brandywine Valley Quilt Show is better than ever this year, featuring more than 250 judged and exhibition quilts on display including three special exhibits: The Creatures of the Abyss Cherrywood Quilts, the Quilt Challenge America the Beautiful Quilts, and an Evolution of Quilting exhibit.

Watch a Cloth-to-Quilt demo that begins with a weaver and showcases quilters at work, illustrating the creative process from start to finish. In honor of quilting's rich history and our nation's 250th birthday, the featured raffle quilt will be offered to a veteran who enters the raffle.

Shop with 20 local and national vendors offering the newest machines, gorgeous fabrics, quilting supplies, and unique gifts, then stop by the Independent Quilters Quilt Shoppe featuring handcrafted quilts made by members. Other activities include a family-friendly Make & Take craft, a sewing-themed photo booth, quilt and basket raffles, and on-site food trucks.

The show is held at Neumann University's Mirenda Center, 501 Convent Drive, Aston, PA, just outside Philadelphia and near Lancaster, a quilter's mecca. Come celebrate the beauty and history of an art that binds us together!
